Phillystran, Inc. has over 30 years experience in the manufacturing of specialty ropes and strength members. At it's inception in 1972 the company was the first to manufacture ropes made from Kevlar® brand fiber. Since that time, Phillystran has continued to develop products and manufacturing techniques which maximize the unique properties of the high tenacity fibers currently available.

Phillystran manufactures high tenacity fiber ropes, strands, braids and strength members from fibers such as Kevlar®, Twaron®, Technora®, Vectran®, Spectra®, Dyneema® and Zylon®. In addition to these high tenacity fiber products, Phillystran also manufactures polyester ropes for specialized applications. Phillystran products are used worldwide in a broad range of marine, industrial and government/military applications including mooring lines, life lines and winch lines, boat rigging, structural and support lines, power cables and broadcast tower guy cables.

Phillystran specializes in producing custom designed strength members for specific applications. Over 50% of the products supplied by Phillystran are custom manufactured to exacting customer requirements. We also offer a complete line of standard products which are listed in this web site.
